What just happened? When I woke up I was back in the museum and my class was there too. But wasn’t I just in Ancient Greece? Oh well maybe it was all just a dream and  I just dreamt  that I was in Ancient Greece. So I continued with the class and saw a bright green gem glistening in the light. It drew me in with it’s light and I had to touch it.

The next thing I knew I was in a dome. There were a lot of people in the dome and they were all yelling Commodus. For a second I wondered where I was then it came to me I was in the famous Roman Colosseum in Ancient Rome. I asked the person sitting next to me who or what Commodus was. He told me that he was the Roman emperor who fought in the Colosseum as a gladiator and that everybody was afraid of him. I wanted to know more about this amazing place.  A passerby heard me and said there was a school to learn all about Ancient Rome. I decided to go to the school so I got ready.

 

When school started we learned about the main foods eaten in Ancient Rome. The foods we learned are still eaten today like bread, vegetables and meat. Also some upper classes ate eggs, cheese, honey and meat. I also came to know that the year was 80 AD.

 

Next, we learned about the famous war tactics that the Romans used. But the one that stuck in my brain was called the Testudo it was a tactic where the soldiers had shields lined up to protect themselves.

 

 

 

Finally we learned about Theater. First of all the Romans copied it from the Greeks.  Also drama was first preformed during Ludi Romani it was a day to honor Julius Caesar it was also when they introduced drama that they got from the Greeks .

 

 

 

While I was leaving school I thought I saw the shadowy figure that I followed here. I tried to catch him but couldn’t and he led me to another portal. I thought it would lead to me another adventure and I wanted to experience it so I went in …

Hi, I’m Aadarsh.

Our class went on a field trip to the museum. When we reached the museum it looked mesmerizing. l saw this cool T-Rex fossil and I was staring at it for 5 minutes. By the time  I had looked around there was no one to be seen. My class had left! Luckily I saw a tiny figure running to the tech area so I followed him hoping he knew where my class was. When I got to the tech room I lost track of him. While I was looking for him  I saw this cool machine and thought it was a toy so I turned it on. At first it was silent then after some time I saw some sparks and then in the blink of an eye it started to suck me in! It was like a spiral of blue, red and purple. I tried to run but I was inching closer and closer to the weird machine and finally I got sucked in. When I glimpsed the inside I was struck with wonder from the amazing view. The blue and purple skies, the bright towers, the bright blue ocean and the big green trees; all of it was amazing. For a second I wondered where I was it and then it came to me that I’m in Athens, Greece. Instantly I wanted to explore this amazing place. I wanted to know more about Ancient Greece and what time period I was in. I heard someone saying we were in 600 BC.

While I was walking I saw a lot of temples and statues of gods like Zeus  and Poseidon. Also I heard that the first play was to honor gods and one of the first gods honored was Dionysus.

While I was walking I started to feel hungry and some locals invited me to eat while we were eating they told me that some common foods were bread, vegetables, barley and fruits.

Also when I saw the  Greek army they told me one of their most famous tactic was called the Trojan horse. 

They told me it was how they beat Troy. They said that the horse was built by Epeius and when they were losing to Troy they had men hide inside the horse. They gave it to Troy as a gift and in the night they snuck out and killed everyone.
